I am in the middle of making a documentary on this experimental cumbia singer/dj in Buenos Aires named Dick el Demasiado. He and his band just finished recording some new songs in the arctic circle of Russia in an old industrial port city. His live shows look something like this:

The other day we were having a cup of coffee and he says, “you know i just made a music video for a friend of mine in Holland, its not much, but you should check it out. Its on youtube.” When I watched it, it was hard to believe that it was made by the same guy. But it was. And its good.
