Brennan Hill: notbrendon

from Community Shorts

In jr. high, Brennan Hill was voted most likely to become an artist and a photo of him was printed in the back of the yearbook; we’ve been jealous of him ever since.

Brennan now lives and works as an artist in Los Angeles. He studied at the California Institute of the Arts and graduated in 2007. His work is abstract but always with a sense of humor and tragedy. Brennan’s work was recently shown in a group show entitled ‘Psymulation: Reenactments of the Present‘ at Hamburger Eyes‘ new Photo Epicenter in San Francisco and has also shown at the William Grant Still Arts Center. He’s had two solo shows entitled ‘Hard Copies’ (2006) and ‘To Chew and Swallow Paper’ (2007) at CalArts Los Angeles. You can see some of Brennan’s paintings, drawings and photos on his Uber page.

Brennan Hill

Not content to perform solely on the canvas and in the gallery, Brennan has also developed as a stand-up comedian.

His foray in to animation comes as no surprise when you look at his passion of creative expression. And did you know Brennan does the original scores to most of his videos?

Here are a few of Brennan’s videos that we’ve previously featured on Milkfat Films-

Thrifty Kitchen

Fan Boy

And don’t miss Santa, The Out-Of-Town-Ner, or Brennan’s cameo in Storyteller.

Brennan’s truly a multi-talent and we’re lucky to have him as a friend. We’re proud to bring you Hero/Psycho and promise to keep you up-to-date on Brennan’s future endeavors.
