When you search for Phil Pinto on Google there are about 1,490,000 results that come up. Admittedly, most of these are not in reference to the Phil Pinto we’re talking about here. From the information that does come up however, we’re pretty sure our Phil has a personal website, MySpace account, and it’s likely that he is also the Phil Pinto registered at JLove.com (a Jewish dating network). More importantly Phil authored and shot our latest featured video, ‘Two Kites Don’t Make a Right.’
Phil’s humble beginnings can be traced back to his days at HunterGatherer, where he cut his teeth working for Todd St. John. During this time Phil got up close and personal with a circular saw. You can see the results in ‘Circle Squared,’ Huga’s contribution to the New York Times’ series of holiday shorts, and the opener ↓ for Jonathan Wells‘ recent Swerve Festival.
All the while, Phil was honing his skills as a photographer and even landed a pic in Vice Magazine’s Photo Issue a while back.

Recently, Phil’s worked on projects for MTV, Subway, David Weeks and various other clients. His spare time is currently filled with writing a short film, starting a photo zine and procrastinating on updating his website. This man is never not working. We don’t know how he finds the time to create these highly profitable shorts as well, but we’re always big fans of what he comes up with. We featured ‘The Last Laugh‘ on Milkfat Films and showed ‘Chinatown‘ ↓ at our very first screening last year.
Ladies and Gents, enjoy ‘Two Kites Dont Make A Right‘
