But before you start figuring out which three of your friends to invite over for dinner (and how to get eight separate phones at that table), I’ve gotta hit you with a huge disappointment: These videos (at least the one in which the corn actually pops) are all part of a (highly successful) viral campaign for a company that makes bluetooth headsets!

Bummer, right? I’m a little comforted by the fact that the company doesn’t actually pretend that there’s any link between these videos and their products –

“Making popcorn with a cell phone only happens in the movies”

but I still feel cheated. How carelessly YouTube plays w/ my emotions…
