After its introduction in September, I kinda forgot about Google Chrome, a web browser for PCs. Well it’s making a comeback in Japan!

Peter and the Wolf

from Megan Fenton

This is a trailer for Peter and the Wolf, directed by Suzie Templeton back in 2006. It won an academy award for best short film in 2008. I was reminded of this by the Coca Cola ad during the SuperBowl that used Prokofiev’s song as well. You can Purchase this Short Film on iTunes, it is definitely worth the 1.99.

Tiny Vaudeville at 826LA

from Megan Fenton

If you live in LA you must come to this event. 826 National is a tutoring program and non profit. Here is what their website says:

“826 National is a nonprofit tutoring, writing, and publishing organization with locations in seven cities across the country. Our goal is to assist students ages six to eighteen with their writing skills, and to help teachers get their classes excited about writing. Our work is based on the understanding that great leaps in learning can happen with one-on-one attention, and that strong writing skills are fundamental to future success.”

They do great things with the kids and for that we love them. The LA chapter is having a vaudeville event tonight that is guaranteed to be a lot of fun.

Check out their LA website for more information.
